The Town of Leamington will be playing host to a new night market this summer.

Fresh off the success of their Art in the Parkette and the Holiday Night Market, organizers are excited to extend these events to the community throughout the year.

Mill Street in Leamington has been going through a revitalization and will be the location for the new night markets, officially known as the Mill St. Night Market. They’ll be held once monthly from May through November from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.

The Mill St. Night Market will feature delicious street food, handcrafted items, vintage clothing and antiques, craft beer and cocktails, local wine and music. They’ll be free for the public to attend and open to all ages.

The first Mill St. Night Market will be held Friday, May 3, 2019.

Mill Street West, located smack dab in the core of Leamington, will be closed to vehicles, creating a pedestrian-only thoroughfare. Guests will be able to shop at up to 20 vendors who will compliment the businesses already located on that section of the street. There will also be local craft beer and cocktail as well as wine to go along with the live music and delicious eats.

Speaking of eats. WindsorEats will be on hand serving up some deliciousness. Since May 3 is practically Cinco de Mayo and Leamington is already known for some great Mexican food options, so we thought we’d compliment them by offering up our Elotes at each of the markets. Elotes are Mexican street corn.

In addition to May 3, 2019, the market will also be held on June 7, July 5, August 9, September 6, October 4 (at Mersea Park) and November 23.
