Windsor, Ontario is a haven when it comes to beverages. Not only are we the birthplace of Canadian Club whisky and known as Whiskytown, Canada, but, we make award winning beers and wines here, too. Heck, Windsor just may be the best place in Canada to drink a lager.

As a result, we have some great festivals to celebrate the drinks we make. Here are 3 festivals we think would make great gifts for those who value making memories over getting stuff.

Celebrate the golden nectar that made this town famous. Whiskytown Festival is a good ol’ fashion garden party on the grounds of St. Mary’s Church in Old Walkerville. You may question our choice of location, but, it is, after all, the church that whisky built and was named after Hiram Walker’s wife. With a variety of vendors, cocktails and a range of whiskies, it’s a great opportunity to try something new or enjoy something old. Tickets are available online for $30.
