With 100 beers to try and several that are exclusive to the festival, the Windsor Craft Beer Festival regularly shows why it’s the best beer festival in Southwestern Ontario.

Here are five exciting brews that we feel you must try when visiting the 2018 edition of the festival:

KBS BY FOUNDERS BREWING CO.

How can we not add this beer to this list? Made by one of America’s best craft breweries, the KBS (Kentucky Breakfast Stout) is an absolute coup for the Windsor Craft Beer Festival. This beer is known and hunted down across North America upon its release and sells out very, very quickly whenever it’s released. You’re welcome.

CHERRY POPPINS BY CRAFT HEADS

We always love the names that Craft Heads gives to its beers. This Windsor, Ontario, craft brewery stays true to Mary Poppins catchphrase: Anything can happen if you let it! The Cherry Poppins is a kettle sour aged on sour cherries. Mmmm mmm!

RASPBERRY CIDER BY WAGNER ORCHARDS

Yes we know it’s not beer, but, remember when we served Wagner Orchards’ cherry cider from our Traveller last year? Well, Wagner’s has kicked it up a notch this year. While we’re still serving their traditional hard cider on tap, we’ll also be serving their Raspberry Hard Cider alongside it. Can you say, “Ooooh yaaaa”?

SUPER FUN BY MOTOR CRAFT ALES

It’s always fun to look to the 1970’s for inspiration. The Super Fun by Motor Craft Ales is colourful and infused with edible sparkles that will visually make it true to its name.

POMEGRANATE CHERRY SCOTCH ALE CASK BY WALKERVILLE BREWERY

Walkerville Brewery is bringing four unique casks to WCBF 2018, two for Friday and two for Saturday. However, this is the one that caught our eye the most. The last time they brought a beer with hints of cherry it sold out within a couple hours. It’ll just be available on Friday so come early.
