If you’re looking for a great blonde ale to drink, Windsor, Ontario just may be the best place in the province to get one.

Kudos go to Frank Brewing Co. who were awarded the gold medal in the Blonde Ale category at the 2018 Ontario Brewing Awards for their Bombshell Blonde Ale. However, it doesn’t end there, with GL Heritage Brewing Co. taking home the bronze in the same category for their Back Shop Brew.

Having two of the three best blonde ales in Ontario is quite the feat. So is taking home 5 medals, which is exactly what Walkerville Brewery did with their Waterfront Wit winning silver in the Witbier category and their Geronimo IPA also receiving a silver in the British IPA category. Their Easy Stout, Kremilin Russian Imperial Stout and their Rob Roy Scotch Ale all took home bronze medals.

The Grove Brew House in Kingsville also took home 4 medals.

So head on in to these breweries and celebrate with a pint!
