Twas the Flight Before Christmas, and all through downtown, beer lovers were crawling to 5 pubs for some fun.
Downtown Flight Club‘s gift to you is 20 brand new craft beers (or 10 wines), a Holiday Flight Club giveaway and another fantastic pub crawl! It’s a great way to get together with all of your friends during the holidays.
Saturday, December 23, 2017, from 1:00pm until 6:00pm, Downtown Flight Club will be ringing in the holiday spirit with friends and family at five of the best craft beer bars in the city: The Windsor Beer Exchange, Phog Lounge, Craft Heads Brewing Company, Snack Bar-B-Q and Villains Beastro.
Downtown Flight Club is the above establishments in a love of beer. When the owners and managers of the venues got talking, they realized that there was craft more beer in that half kilometre than anywhere else in the city. Flight Club is their way of introducing you to this abundance.
A Festivus miracle is also taking place at this edition of the Flight Club. You don’t just need to love craft beer to participate as the establishments are now offering wine this time around, too. Each venue has paired with a local winery and will be offering 3 ounces of white wine and 3 ounces of red wine at each venue for the grape lovers among you.
As for the craft beer fans…each venue will be offering four brand spanking new beers per venue, per customer. You will receive four 5-ounce pours of premium craft beer at each venue. This totals 100 ounces total, 20 ounces per venue, which you will visit for one hour each.
Tickets are available online through the WindsorEats shop for your convenience, or you can still purchase tickets from the venue you wish to fly with (ie. if you buy your ticket at Phog Lounge because you want to take the Flight with Tom Lucier, that is the venue you will begin at, 1:00pm sharp.
Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 for those who wait until the day of the event.
Ugly Christmas sweaters are strongly encouraged.
