We’re gonna repeat that one more time to let it sink in. A cronut. Filled with ice cream.
This week, the Walkerville Tavern released a new menu with some special new treats. The one that sticks out the most to us was their Cronut Sunday. It’s a cronut, sourced from Blak’s Bakery, filled with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce.

Before it is sliced and inserted, the cronuts are placed in the oven to warm them up. This slightly caramelizes the sugar glaze making them that much more crave-worthy.
Other new menu items include:
The Smashed Potato Poutine is the taverns special take on the Canadian classic. The potatoes are smothered in Tex Mex cheese. We recommend getting the curry gravy and throwing on the option of pulled pork and coleslaw. Sweet mother Mary, it’s good.

There’s also a new addition to their wok family with the Sichuan Chicken. Think General Tao’s chicken mixed in with the regular greatness that the Walkerville Tavern wok dishes offer. For those who don’t like spicy, be warned. This dish starts out at a 4 spice level.

Every tavern needs a pulled pork sandwich, right? Walkerville Tavern finally has one of their own.
