The only Rosé to be featured in this years 30 Days of Local Wine, Cooper’s Hawk Vineyard has created a sweet wine lovers’s dream!
Irresistible floral mandarin, strawberry, mint and cotton candy aromas lead to a palate of honey, strawberry jam, watermelon and finish with a touch of ginger.
Pair this wine with salads, sharp cheeses and any oil based dressings. Their customers love it with dark chocolate too! That being said, chef Michael Boucher of Cooper’s Hawk Vineyards provided the perfect chocolate recipe to pair with.
Chocolate Pumpkin Brownies
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup AP flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup canned pumpkin (or pureed pumpkin or sweet potato)
- 6 tbsp oil (You can omit, but be warned: the brownies will be gummy)
- 4 tbsp 35% cream
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips (not optional)
