Congratulations are in order for Cooper’s Hawk Vineyard!
Located in Harrow, Ontario, the winery was awarded a silver medal at the International Pinot Challenge. The winery’s Pinot Noir was up against competition from across the world, including the France, United States, Germany, Chile and others.
According to their website, the International Pinot Challenge (IPC) was created to challenge the Pinot Noir industry from around the world. Wines receive a double blind tasting from judges accredited by the Wine Judges of Canada as well as experienced, international tasters such as wine writers, sommeliers, and educators.
Cooper’s Hawk Vineyard also recently announced plans for expansion in 2015.
