Congratulations are in order for the Downtown Windsor Farmers Market on securing a 3-year lease.
“I am very happy that council saw the value of keeping a public market in the Charles Clark space,” says Steve Green, the general manager of the market.
The lease now qualifies the market to write grants to help with its growth.
“Without a permanent location we werent eligible,” explained Steve. “Before it was always a touch and go situation. Now we can grow the market.”
The lease permits the Downtown Windsor Farmers Market use of Charles Clark Square until the end of the 2016 season.
