Jack’s Gastropub is excited to announce the Butcher’s Dinner Series with local butcher, Jamie Waldron.

Their first series is scheduled for Monday, February 27, 2012 at 7:00pm. Reservations are being taken now and are filling up quickly. The cost is only $40 bucks per person.

J. Waldron Quality Local Meats

Enter J. Waldron Quality Local Meats.

Jamie is a local butcher who’s determined to bring the people of Windsor-Essex County quality meats from local sources. Jamie, who grew up in the area, but left to work with one of top butcher shops in the GTA has returned to the region, and we’re fortunate to have him back. He’s currently running a local meat share program and butchery classes.

During this dinner, you’ll actually witness Jamie in action breaking down a side of pork and introducing patrons to the various primal cuts. (And for those of you wondering if you need to wear a hasmat suit and galoshes… no, they’re not slaughtering a pig before your eyes, the animal will be ready-to-butcher…)

Back in the Jack’s kitchen, their team will be preparing a 4-course pork-heavy tasting dinner for guests to enjoy during the evening. You’ll also enjoy a carefully chosen and paired glass of wine or beer with your meal.

Space is limited so act fast.
