WindsorEats stopped by Jack’s Gastrobpub tonight to take in one of their monthly Trivia Dinner Nights. On the first Monday of each night, Jack’s opens their doors to teams of 6 or more ($20 per person) and runs a themed trivia night complete with a meal. Tonight’s theme was Canadiana and everything from the questions to the meal followed it perfectly. This month’s menu consisted of:

  • sweet potato white cheddar cheese curd poutine
  • cranberry goat cheese and walnut salad
  • maple glazed pork tenderloin served on baked apples with potato croquette and heirloom carrots
  • Canadian butter tart with a butter pecan ice cream

The restaurant was almost at capacity so we strongly recommend booking your team for the next trivia night, February 6, 2012, as soon as possible.
