Mettawas Station Mediterranean Restaurant

Kingsville, Ontario is one of the hot spots to be during Winter Bites Culinary Week. We had posted earlier about Jack’s Gastropub offering a lunch menu and staying at Inn 31 for the weekend. Well, one of your dinner options for the weekend could be Mettawas Station. Located inside the historic Kingsville train stationand along the Chrysler Greenway, Chef Anthony Del Brocco serves up Italian and Mediterranean cuisine in a beautiful setting.

Here is a showcase of the 3 Winter Bites selections that we here at WindsorEats are most excited about on Mettawas Station’s dinner menu:

Winter Pizza Pie
We were a huge fan of his Summer Pizza Pie during Eat Your City Culinary Week last August, so we can only imagine this will taste just as great, if not better.

Stuffed Mushroom
Tomato and bocconcini stuffed mushroom. Really, how can you go wrong?

Smoked Mozzarella Ravioli
Oh, cheese. How I love thee.

Both the lunch and dinner Winter Bites Culinary Week menus from Mettawas Station can be viewed here. Lunch runs for $15 per person and dinner for $35 per person.

Winter Bites is Windsor and Essex County’s very own restaurant week. From January 16 to January 22, 2012, diners can visit any Winter Bites participating restaurant and indulge in a 3-course meal, created with 3 options in each course to choose from. Participating restaurants are open during their regular hours of operation. Prices do not include taxes, beverages or gratuity.
