We recently received a comment on an older article, “Are Urban Chickens Coming To Windsor? Have Your Say”. Melissa asked:
“I was just wondering where this issue stands, when will council have their vote. I would like to have some urban chickens of my own but I am waiting until I have the green light for this. Please update me.”
So I asked our trusty friend, Steve Green, of the Windsor Essex Community Supported Agriculture where everything was at. The answer was something that is disappointing, but, rather expected.
Windsor City Council will be raising the issue at budget deliberations since there was some ‘cost concerns’ in establishing a working committee.
