Today is the day!
The free outdoor screening of The Princess Bride is tonight! The festivities will begin at 6:30pm tonight with Mad Science doing some great interactive demonstrations for the kids until 7:30pm.
Immediately following Mad Science, local author Karen Tompkins will do a reading of her award nominated book, Different is Just Different. You will also have the opportunity to purchase the book and have it signed.
For the duration of the event, Slice of Style will be hosting many activities, including a Mother/Daughter salon to get all prettied up for the movie, which begins at 9:00pm.
Pause Cafe will be staying open late tonight to allow people to enjoy some beverages and Micanto Pizza will be offering pizza slice specials to the kids.
All this fun, including the film, would never have happened without the support of the Downtown Winsdor Business Improvement Association, Chanoso’s Restaurant, Oishii Sushi Bar, the Windsor International Film Festival and Slice of Style.
