The Amherstburg Farmers Market has not just joined WindsorEats this week, but, on Saturday, June 5, 2010, they will also be holding their grand opening!
Back on March 9, 2010, WindsorEats announced that the Town of Amherstburg accepted a proposal by Dan and Nancy Kenney of Tredki Acres for the farmers market.
The day will begin at 8:30am and go until 3:30pm. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony taking place at 10:00am.
While you’ll be able to pick up fresh produce, you can also purchase bedding plants, eggs, fresh meats, baked goods and much more!
There will also be cake, balloons, draws, square dancing and Hay Days Horse Camp so it’s sure to be a fun family event.
