Thursday, December 31, 2009, Junk Steak & Stir-Fry Lounge will be hosting their Supper Club as a New Year’s Eve celebration!
The evening will begin with cocktails at 8:00pm and dinner will start at 9:00pm. For $100 in advance (or $120 at the door, if there is still room), you receive a fantastic 4-course meal, champagne and party favours and a snack at midnight. Proceeds also go to the United Way.
Here is a look at the special menu for the night:
Shrimp Cocktail & Antipasto
Seasoned jumbo shrimp served with our original Junk cocktail sauce. Antipasto consisting of Provolone cheese, olives, prosciutto and peperone topped with olive oil.
SOUP & SALAD
It’s the perfect soup, free of fat and rich in flavour, Chef Paul’s special recipe.
Goat Cheese Salad
A signature salad that Junk Lounge has become famous for in the City of Windsor. Spring mix salad with our classic French vinaigrette served with a breaded goat cheese puck.
Lamb & Lobster Tail
Half rack of our Australian Striped Lamb, another signature dish at Junk Lounge, seasoned with rosemary and garlic, grilled to perfection and served with a savoury butter glazed lobster tail. Complimenting the dish are sweet glazed carrots, grilled asparagus and Chef Paul’s rice pilaf.
David’s mother, Josie Toniolo, is making this traditional Italian dessert from a family recipe. It is made of savoiardi (lady finger biscuits), dipped in espresso and layered with a whipped mixture of egg yolks, mascarpone and sugar topped with cocoa.
The regular menu is still available on NYE, however, only from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, but, does not include Supper Club. Please let Junk know at the time of purchase of any food allergies and special dietary requirements.
