In what is an absolutely unique and fantastic partnership, the National Film Board of Canada and Windsor, Ontario restaurateurs Jay Soulliere and Gino Gesuale are part of a web documentary series entitled, GDP: Measuring the human side of the Canadian economic crisis.
The first episode, entitled Another Saturday Night, takes place at their business, NOI Restaurant, as they discuss it’s future transformation and Windsor’s current economic woes.
According to the National Film Board, they are “launching the country’s first bilingual web documentary, a pan-Canadian project that bears witness to the far-reaching effects of the crisis in our lives and communities.”
The first episode of Jay & Gino is very interesting and I can’t wait to witness the rest of the episodes.
