Last night WindsorEats, in conjunction with Mezzo Ristorante & Lounge, held our first Wine Club event.
Izabela Muzzin of Aleksander Estate Winery shared her knowledge of tasting, pairing and appreciating wines. Our eager group sampled a white (Riesling), 3 reds (Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Baco Noir) and an Ice Wine, all courtesy of Aleksander Estate Winery.
Our group had a blast all while learning a thing or two about the art of tasting wines. From the comments I’ve received, the next Wine Club on April 16, 2009 will be a blast as many from Wednesday night were promising to bring more friends to the next one!
