Yes, it’s true. Mezzo Ristorante & Lounge has teamed up the Windsor Symphony Orchestra to bring great dinner and show packages.
The dates for the concerts;
- February 7 – Pops Celebration: From Oscar, With Love Saturday
- March 7 – Masterworks: Brahms Requiem Saturday
- March 14 – Pops Celebration: Celtic Kick Up! Saturday
- April 18 – Pops Celebration: Big Screen Blockbusters Saturday
- May 2 – Masterworks: Fire + Ice
The package cost is as follows and it includes concert tickets for one, 3-course dinner at Mezzo and taxes and gratuity:
- Section A $89
- Section B Adults $72, Seniors $70, Student $55 and Youth $32
Reservations start as early as 4pm. The dinner portion is as follows;
Course One (please choose one of the following)
Calamari
lightly floured calamari served with a sweet pepper and chipotle aioli and frisee salad
Mezzo Bruschetta
crostini topped with roasted sweet peppers, marinated tomatoes, goat cheese, caramelized onions and a white balsamic basil syrup
Stuffed Mushroom
mixed vegetable stuffed mushrooms topped with an asiago cream sauce and roasted red pepper aioli
Course Two (please choose one of the following)
Mixed Green Salad
mixed greens, ripened tomatoes, red onions and cucumbers tossed in white balsamic vinaigrette
Squash Soup
puree of squash and apple, spiced with curry, served with a pistachio croquette and thyme infused Chambord Royale reduction
Course Three (please choose one of the following)
Rigatoni
short noodle tossed with ‘AAA’ beef tenderloin, bacon, sweet peppers and wild mushrooms in a brandy Gorgonzola blush sauce
Salmon
shrimp and crab stuffed salmon filet, served over top of mascarpone basmati rice accompanied with a limoncello saffron emulsion
Pollo Funghi
pan seared chicken breast served with a wild mushroom, white truffle cream sauce, served with an apple wood smoked cheddar mash and asparagus
