Well, this past weekend was a fun one. On Friday, Pina and I brought the entire family, as well as Jillian and Sean, out to the Biz X “Oscar” ceremony as we were honoured to be voted as the “Leading Online Local Biz” for our region. I was really excited to be sharing the night with everybody as they have all been a huge part of everything we have been able to accomplish so far. From volunteering at events, writing articles, putting up with a tantrum or two when my nerves were shot…they were there for us.
WindsorEats had a few members celebrating at the awards ceremony as well. Charles and Renu Anderson of Thai Palace took home the “Thai Cuisine Experts” award, a category in which another WindsorEats member, Mi Mi Gardens, was also nominated. It was nice to see how excited and proud Renu was accepting the award. Well deserved!
The “Sensation Seafood Paradise” award was handed out to member restaurant Caldwell’s Grant in Amherstburg.
