The WindsorEats bartenders were out in full force this long Victoria Day weekend, working events each of the days. As a result, this forced me to polish up my skills and wet some peoples whistles. I don’t think anybody was happier about this decision than my neighbours. In order to keep myself sober enough to create the test drinks, I was siphoning off my creations to any neighbour I saw outdoors. It ended up with practically the entire street popping out of every crack and crevice! Good times, good times.

While there are many different recipes for this drink, here’s a simple one that I practiced to the neighbourhood’s delight. It won’t require you to purchase a boatload of exotic items at the grocery store:
Pina Colada
- 2 oz. Malibu Rum
- 2 oz. pineapple juice
- 1 oz. milk
- some ice cubes
- slice of pineapple for a garnish
Toss it all into a blender and turn the sucker on. Pour into a glass and garnish with a slice of pineapple.
