It’s gonna be a busy Friday! There’s a lot going on!
Our friend Nancy Johns is opening up her very own gallery and frame shop. This Friday, November 9th she will be having a grand opening at 7pm, 4755 Wyandotte Street East. Stop by and check her out! She is a great artist and it’s well worth a pop in.
At the Art Gallery of Windsor, the Michael J. Farrell Award will be presented as part of the AGW’s Friday Live. The award, named for Michael J. Farrell, a dedicated advocate for arts education and founder of the University of Windsor’s Honours Art History program, is part of WEA’s Arts Leadership Award program. The goal of the award is to recognize artists working in Windsor and other individuals who have enhanced the environment for the arts in the community.
Colio Estate Wines is having an open house on November 9th from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. Everyone is welcome and there will be free tours, wine samplings and hor d’ouevres.
And then, there’s the event that I’m most excited about…..Richie Hawtin, Magda and Marc Houle at Boom Boom Room! Giddy up!
