WindsorEats is hosting a collection of comedians for the very first comedy show to be held at our location.
On November 25, 2023, the Gang’s All Here comedy group will be hosting their Best Of! Comedy Showcase at WindsorEats, located at 400 Erie Street East. The show begins at 8pm.
A decade ago an aspiring comedian would have to move to New York or LA or Toronto (if Canadian) to develop their comedic skill set on a nightly basis. The comedy landscape, and path to fame has changed rapidly in the last 10 years with the growth of social media, podcasting, and YouTube.
With those also came a desire and interest for local comedy shows in every city, and town (and feels like even village) across the United States and Canada – there are now more shows for comedians to remain local while performing on a nightly basis on the path to becoming a professional comedian. The most talented comedians that you haven’t heard of yet now live on your block or an hour from your favourite bar.
The Best Of! Comedy Showcase is a collection of these comedians.
The evening will be hosted by Gang’s All Here co-producer and Windsor’s funniest comedian, Tim Reaburn, and will feature comedians CJ Erwin (host & director of Rose City Tonight), Ella Horwedel (from Laughing Skull Comedy Festival and the producer for Don’t Tell Comedy Ann Arbor), Andrew Yang (Voted “Best Comedian in Washtenaw County” in 2022 and 2023 by Current Magazine), Jen Richardson (co-producer of Gang’s All Here Comedy – she put herself on this line up), and Brad Wenzel (as seen on Conan – three times, Netflix is a Joke Radio and SiriusXM).
