The 2023 Walkerville Art Walk takes place this weekend with a barrel full of activities to enjoy!

The Walkerville BIA is incredibly excited to welcome the community back for their annual Art Walk. Here’s a look at everything they’ll have going on this weekend.

WHEN DOES IT TAKE PLACE?

Friday, July 21: 5pm to 10pm
Saturday, July 22: 10am to 6pm

WHERE EXACTLY IS IT HAPPENING?

Wyandotte St. E will be closed off to vehicles, allowing guests to stroll down the Walkerville district from Lincoln to Argyle.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The event itself is absolutely free to attend and family friendly!

VENDORS GALORE!

There will be over 30 local vendors, makers, and artists lining the streets of Wyandotte Street East.

PATIO POP UP MARKET

 

If you needed more, The Urban Art Market is hosting a Patio Pop Up with local vendors and makers on Chilver Road on Friday from 5-10pm, and Saturday from 11-6pm.

THE GRAND CANTINA IS POPPING UP

 

While their new location isn’t quite ready yet, The Grand Cantina will be popping up front of their new digs at Wyandotte and Devonshire serving tacos from 5pm to 10pm on Friday and 11am – 6pm on Saturday.

THERE’LL BE YOGA IN THE STREETS

Breathe Pilates will be hosting Yoga in the Streets from 9:30am to 10:30am on Saturday. They’ll be located on Wyandotte St. E.  between Kildare and Devonshire roads.

WHY NOT HAVE SOME DANCING IN THE STREETS, TOO?!

If you head over to Jubilee Park on Friday night, from 5pm to 10pm, DJ Rye will be filling the air with music that you can let yourself free to.

FACE PAINTING FOR KIDS AND ADULTS

Over on the porch of The Inn of Windsor, you can get your face painted and some balloons by Funky Faces.

THERE’LL BE GAMES!

A game zone on Wyandotte Street East between Lincoln and Gladstone where you can join in on some corn hole, ladder ball, jenga, and more!

SEE AN AERIAL PERFORMANCE

At 7pm on Friday, gather around the Wyandotte Street East between Chilver and Kildare as Breathe will be putting on an aerial performance.

My friend, you can do anything you put your mind to. However, Twisted Apron is making this one pretty easy to achieve as they’ll be offering breakfast for dinner on Friday until 9pm.

SIT AT THE BREWERY FOR A PINT AND SOME LIVE MUSIC

With the weather looking absolutely gorgeous this weekend, if you need shelter from the sun head over to Walkerville Brewery live entertainment and a pint. On Friday, Jake Van Danger is playing from 6pm to 9pm, while Leighton Bain hits the stage from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday
