All good things must come to an end.

As of this writing, Saturday, October 31, 2020 will be the final day for our Outdoor Food Hall. This will give you one last chance to get out there and enjoy some incredible eats in an extremely safe environment while supporting local businesses.

While we’re still working hard behind the scenes to extend the Outdoor Food Hall in one way or another, the project was only initially approved by Windsor City Council to run until the end of October 2020.

Rico Taco and BZB Test Kitchen will be back and WindsorEats will also be serving up some of our gourmet waffles on a stick, which were a huge hit at Bright Lights Windsor, including our S’mores waffle.

We encourage you to bring the family and kids by for a takeout treat of waffle on a stick and come dressed in costume. Just because trick or treating may not be what it normally is, doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be a reason for the kids (and adults) to dress up.

Since it began in the first weekend of September, the Outdoor Food Hall has hosted 13 operational days and has seen approximately 2500 people walk through the door. This doesn’t even include the hundreds of orders we’ve received for takeout. As a result, we’ve been able to support hospitality businesses who were struggling during the pandemic with over $81,000 in sales from all the amazing people who came out and supported the project. Words cannot express the thanks and gratitude WindsorEats and the participating businesses have for you.

A huge shoutout also goes to the St. Clair College Alumni Association for seeing the value of the project and jumping on board as a partner.

The WindsorEats Outdoor Food Hall is a safe way enjoy delicious foods, supporting local chefs and restaurants. Located within the covered outdoor rink at Lanspeary Park, tables are spaced out at least 15-20ft apart and the entire ordering and payment process is cashless and contactless through your own mobile device. Vendors rotate and vary from week to week. Rico Taco and BZB Test Kitchen are confirmed for this weekend.

While not mandatory, we strongly encourage making your free reservation as it guarantees you a table and allows you to skip any lines.

If you can’t make it or don’t feel comfortable dining in, we also have a separate area just for take out orders which can also be made using the online menu.
