The St. Clair College Alumni Association has stepped up to support the Outdoor Food Hall at Lanspeary Park and ensure it continues a little bit longer.
“Our St. Clair College Alumni Association are so impressed and pleased with the hard work of both Adriano and Pina, both grads of the College, who have stepped up with the Food Hall concept which has met the needs of our community ,culinary and hospitality sectors in a safe and truly unique weekend events for family and friends,” said Andrew Rowberry, President of the St Clair College Alumni Board.
“We’re so pleased to be a sponsor of this community event to support WindsorEats, many College alumni and other vendors who participate every weekend.”
WindsorEats’ Outdoor Food Hall concept was approved by Windsor City Council to provide support to the local hospitality and tourism industry. Its aim is to provide a safe, anxiety free and contactless dining option for guests while providing an opportunity for local restaurants, chefs and food-based businesses a location they can generate revenue and sustain themselves through pandemic restrictions.
“Windsor Eats have continued to raise the bar, thinking outside the box and have not just talked about it, but have worked hard to meet all of the requirements to provide another fabulous experience for all ages to participate in,” added John Fairley, host of Face to Face on Your TV.
The St. Clair College Alumni Association’s goal is to promote and foster positive St. Clair alumni connections and fellowship within the St. Clair College community and to promote and foster positive St. Clair College alumni connections with the community at large.
The Outdoor Food Hall will be open again this Saturday, October 3 (12p-9p) and Sunday, October 4 (3p-8p). You can view the entire menu being offered by all the vendors here. Items and vendors will be added as confirmed.
The WindsorEats Outdoor Food Hall is a safe way enjoy delicious foods, supporting local chefs and restaurants. Located within the covered outdoor rink at Lanspeary Park, tables are spaced out at least 15-20ft apart and the entire ordering and payment process is contactless through your own mobile device. Vendors rotate and vary from week to week. While not mandatory, we strongly encourage making your free reservation as it guarantees you a table and allows you to skip any lines.
If you can’t make it or don’t feel comfortable dining in, we also have a separate area just for take out orders which can also be made using the online menu.
