Isolating doesn’t mean we can’t be social. The Beacon Ale House in Amherstburg, Ontario, is hosting a 4-course virtual beer and food pairing.
The dinner takes place on April 24, 2020 at 7:00pm.
Beer has been selected from GL Heritage Brewing Company, The Grove Brew House, Railway City Brewing Company , and Walkerville Brewery. Each beer will be paired with some of Beacon Ale House’s favourite dishes.
How will it work?
Once your reservation is booked, you’ll have a time set up to pick up your kit between 5:00pm and 6:30pm. You’ll also then receive your login information for the virtual meetup. Beer will be cold but food may require reheating.
At 7:00pm you will then meet virtually to enjoy the pairing. During this time, there will be discussions on the pairing and you’ll be able to ask any questions you have about the food or beer.
Cost is $60 per person and includes four 473ml cans of beer. E-transfer is preferred for a smooth process. Booking will be closed on Thursday April 23 at noon.
Beacon is also offering their exclusive beer mugs for $10 each.
