Mamo Burger Bar has announced they will be shutting their doors due to the COVID-19 crisis until further notice.

The popular burger joint, recently named the best in Canada, has stated that their 4:00pm to 8:00pm takeout on Sunday, March 22, 2020, will be the final opportunity to enjoy one of their burgers until the pandemic subsides.

In a social media post, they stated keeping their staff and their families safe was of the utmost importance in the decision.

This is a hard post to write, but, something that needs to happen. Today, March 22, 2020, from 4-8pm, will be the final day for takeout for @mamoburger as we close our doors as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. We no longer felt we could ask our family of staff to risk their health and safety, as well as that of their families and have made this decision with their best interests in mind. We want to thank every single person who has supported us by ordering takeout. You're all amazing and we appreciate everything. We also want everyone to please stay calm, stay safe and stay kind to every person you interact with. Call or FaceTime loved ones regularly from the safety of your home to keep those connections and your mental health strong. We wish all of you the best and hope to have your support again after all this goes away. #WindsorON #YQG #stayhome #WindsorEats #thankyou #staystrong #staysafe
