MILL ST. NIGHT MARKET

The Town of Leamington will hosting their Mill St. Night Market. The first market in May was such a huge success and we expect the streets to be packed full this Friday.

If you haven’t heard, Mill Street in Leamington has been going through a revitalization and will be the location for new night markets, officially known as the Mill St. Night Market. It gets transformed into an awesome people space. The markets will be held once monthly from May through November from 4:00pm to 10:00pm.

The Mill St. Night Market will feature delicious street food, handcrafted items, vintage clothing and antiques, craft beer and cocktails, local wine and music. They’ll be free for the public to attend and open to all ages.

Speaking of eats. WindsorEats will be on hand serving up some deliciousness. WindsorEats will be serving up our Elotes. Elotes are Mexican street corn.

We’re incredibly lucky to have Point Pelee National Park just minutes away from the city. So when they host special events like their Sunset Paddle, you absolutely need to take advantage of it.

Have you ever wanted to enjoy a paddle of the marsh at night? Here’s your chance. Join Pelee Wings Paddlesports for an evening paddle through the marsh and explore it like few others have.

Paddling not thing? Join park staff for a stroll around the boardwalk and learn how we study the natural world after dark. You’ll have the chance to become part of our Marsh monitoring program and hear just how active the marsh is at night.

LIVE OUTDOOR VIEWING OF NBA FINALS

If you’re a big basketball fan, are rootin’ for Canada or just love being in large, excited crowds, you’ll want to head to downtown Windsor on Friday for Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

Join the Toronto Raptors faithful at Jurassic “Clark” Windsor and cheer on Canada’s team at Canada’s first line of defense in downtown Windsor. It is one of only 10 sanctioned outdoor screenings in Canada for the NBA Finals.

Gates open at 7pm for this free all ages event.

Food concessions and a licensed bar will be available. Guests are welcome to bring along blankets and folding chairs.

Organizers are suggesting that attendees make their way to Jurassic Park Windsor at 7:00pm and encourage everyone to visit and support establishments in the downtown core as a lead-up to tip off at 9:00pm.

Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets, and sunscreen as the Windsor Symphony Orchestra hosts two free outdoor concerts this weekend.

First, the WSO Brass Quintet will be at the Heritage Gardens in Essex on Saturday at 7:00pm. On Sunday, the quintet will then be doing a 7:00pm performance in the Windsor Sculpture Garden in Windsor along the riverfront.
