GL Heritage Brewing Co. in Amherstburg, Ontario.

It’s time for the re-release of GL Heritage Brewing‘s wildly popular, seasonal Apple Jack’d Ale!!!

First introduced last fall, this delicious and smooth light ale is infused with the juice of locally-grown, fresh-pressed apples from Meleg’s Lakeview Orchard & Cider Mill and gentle apple pie spice. Then, this delightful craft beer nectar is blended with the delicious Apple Caramel Whiskey made by our friends at Wolfhead Distillery. Not too sweet, oh-so-smooth and has an ABV of 7% and IBU of 11.

There will be food on site throughout the weekend as well as live entertainment for families of all sizes and ages to enjoy. The brewery is extending their hours to the following just for this weekend:

  • Friday 3:00pm to 9:00pm
  • Saturday 11:00am to 7:00pm
  • Sunday 12:00pm to 5:00pm

Canadians are stereotypically known to be squeaky clean, but when it comes to our comfort food we get down and dirty. It’s an authentic, gritty look at the underbelly of a great Canadian city.

Explore dark alleys covered with graffiti on The Dirty Poutine Experience and learn historical Canadian facts on your way to taste a variety of different takes on Canada’s most well-known comfort food.

Also, this is a tour that Hungry in Detroit said was one of the “best tours ever”.
