Looking for something to do on St. Patrick’s Day?
Everybody loves to have a good time on March 17! Here’s a list of some fun and tasty events for folks looking to be Irish for the day…..and those who are actually Irish the other 364 days of the year.
Brew, the microbrewery just on the outskirts of downtown Windsor, welcomes you with no cover and free admission starting at 11:00am. Live music will fill the place beginning at 5:00pm with 96.7FM broadcasting live from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with giveaways.
The kitchen is open all day and they’ll also be serving up their Brew Chocolate Stour and Irish Cream Ale as beer features.
CRAFT HEADS BREWING COMPANY
How can you say no to Craft Heads Brewing Company‘s Aardvark Blondes and ‘Blues’Berry Blonde pints at $4 each? It’s hard because they’re so good!! Throw Little Foot Foods selling their mighty tasty pierogies starting at 4:30pm into the mix and you have a tasty party.
ROCK BOTTOM’S ST. PATTY’S DAY IRISH BREAKFAST
Rock Bottom is offering up an Irish Breakfast from 10:00am to 11:30am, complete with live music. A special “Irish” menu will also be available all day after breakfast and includes items such as:
- Beef n’ Guinness Stew
- Bangers n’ Mash
- Blarney Burger
- Shepherd’s Pie Nachos
- And more!
Speaking of Rock Bottom, they’ll be hosting “Windsor’s largest pub crawl” along with The Barrel House and others. There’ll be Irish fare, live music and green giveaways.
They may be an English pub but The Manchester still love to celebrate their Irish neighbours. The popular downtown Windsor hangout will be offering up live music from noon to close and drink and food features all day long.
BULL & BARREL
Needing something in your belly to help keep you going throughout the day’s celebrations? Go get yourself some $5 pulled pork sandwiches at Bull & Barrel until 5:00pm.
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Billy’s Taphouse with live music from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. 14 craft beer taps, lots of corned beef and great live music will be served.
