Chanoso’s Restaurant in Downtown Windsor is once again taking part in Winter Bites Culinary Week and is once again expected to be a lunchtime favourite for downtown dwellers during the restaurant week. Famous for their stir fries, Chanoso’s has a nice local wine selection and has a fun atmosphere.
Here is a showcase of the 3 Winter Bites selections that we here at WindsorEats are most excited about on their lunch menu:
Served with Hoisen sauce, the chicken rolls are a great start to any lunch.
I’m gonna stick with what made them famous. Their selections allow you to choose your protien (I’ll take chicken), your sauce (hot honey), your noodle (Shanghai) and your heat (I’m weak, I’ll take a 3).
Given a choice between Tiramisu and Tempura Bananas, the good ol’ Italian boy in me will go for the classic Italian cake.
Both the lunch and dinner Winter Bites Culinary Week menus from Chanoso’s Restaurant can be viewed here. The Chanoso’s lunch menu is $15 per person and the dinner is $25 per person. Reservations are strongly recommended.
Winter Bites is Windsor and Essex County’s very own restaurant week. From January 16 to January 22, 2012, diners can visit any Winter Bites participating restaurant and indulge in a 3-course meal, created with 3 options in each course to choose from. Participating restaurants are open during their regular hours of operation.
