On Thursday, July 7, 2011 beginning at 6:30 PM, Foia Restaurant will be hosting an evening dedicated to Pinot Noir.

A selection of six Pinot Noirs will be poured blind (not blindfolded) for you to assess. Score sheets will be provided and scores will tabulate your assessments just for the heck of it. Between the tasting, a Pinot Noir-based sparkler will be poured to refresh your palates

The dinner was selected by the chefs at Foia to complement a range of Pinot Noirs and is as follow:

  • Selected House Specialty Appetizer Platters
  • Fresh Atlantic Salmon with Fresh Herb Buttter
    Milk-Fed Veal with Wild Mushroom Sauce
  • Fresh Local Strawberries served with Mas Janeil Maury

Foia is allowing each person to bring their own favourite from their personal cellar for the occasion and it will be paired the main course of the meal. We highly recommend and encourage you to bring your favourite Pinot Noir from the Lake Erie North Shore and see how great our Windsor-Essex wines pair up with the rest of the world.

The cost of the evening is $75.00 and there are only 20 seats available for this unique culinary event so be sure to book early.
