As part of our 30 Days of Local Wine promotion taking place December 1 to 31, WindsorEats is offering Wine Express bus tours to our local wineries and we’ve confirmed the details for the November 27 tour!
The tour will leave Windsor at 10am and we will be visiting four wineries in total. We will first visit two wineries, Aleksander Estate and Mastronardi Estate. Guests will then be driven to downtown Kingsville for one hour so lunch can be eaten.
After lunch, our guests will then be driven to visit Pelee Island Winery and Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery.
The exciting thing about this tour is that the SWOVA Open House event will be taking place and many of the wineries will have extra activities on hand for everyone. This is a perfect opportunity to purchase some gifts for the holiday season or to stock up your own reserves.
We will be spending 45 minutes at each winery. Cost of each ticket is $75 and includes the drive to each winery, tastings at each winery and the lunch in Kingsville.
One of the goals for the SWOVA Open House is to stock local food banks for the holiday season. We ask, if possible, that each person please bring a bag of canned goods with them on the Wine Express. We will then provide the cans to the wineries who will be collecting them over the weekend.
