On Saturday, October 2, 2010, make your way on out to Colio Estate Winery in Harrow for a wine and cheese pairing.
The wine and cheese pairing takes place in Colio’s hospitality centre and pairs four premium wines with four artisan cheese. Experience each pairing at your own pace; take a walk through the vineyard or sit in their Muskoka chairs under the portico while you sip and taste. If you want to learn more about cheese just ask local cheese guru Greg Williams from Far Flung Foods.
The tasting is from 12:00pm to 3:00pm and costs $5 per person. Everyone is welcome and no reservations are necessary.
You can then head out to to the town for some shopping or visit some other wineries like CREW or Sprucewood and come back to Colio for a special food and wine pairing from 4:00pm to 5:00pm.

The second pairing consists of a scrumptious sampling of artisan cheese, organic chicken and beef along with a seasonal vegetable provided by Chef Shaun Bucholtz of Mephisto’s Grill.
