Following a recent pilgrimage to Chicago, restaurateurs Mark Boscariol and Mat Mathais are sharing their experiences and launching a Wednesday Night Supper Club at Chanoso’s and Oishii Restaurants commencing January 27.

The “2 can dine for $39.99” menu offers patrons the choice of an appetizer, two entrees, a dessert and entertainment by The Monday Milkmen – a band with musical influences ranging from funk and jazz to classical and everything in-between.

Some of the Supper Club’s featured entrees include: Duck Confit Chili Noodle Salad; Albacore Caramelized with Soy and Sake; Crisp Tofu and Toasted Walnuts; and Grilled Lamb with Sweet and Sour Dried Cherry Compote. Decadent desserts include: Lavender Ice Cream with Raspberry Spiked Chocolate Brownies; White Chocolate Mousse with Sesame Snaps; Caramel Custard and Grilled Banana-Filled Crepes.

“The Supper Club offers our patrons an affordable gourmet dining experience and hip entertainment in a cool social setting,” says Mark Boscariol. “It also allows us to present many unique culinary offerings and showcase the tremendous talents of chefs Jennifer Hillis and Ted “Tiki” Dimoglou.”

Chanoso’s and Oishii will also be donating 10% of all sales generated on January 27, including those generated by the Supper Club to the Rotary Club of Windsor’s Haiti Relief efforts. Reservations recommended.

Also remember that Chanoso’s and Oishii are both taking part in Winter Bites 2010 which lasts through to Saturday, January 23, 2010!
