If you’re planning on attending a Supper Club with friends on Friday, June 26, 2009, make sure you all meet up at the same one.

Foia Restaurant, Mezzo Ristorante & Lounge and Junk Pan-Asian Grill are all hosting their own versions of ‘supper clubs’ on Friday, June 26, 2009.

Foia Restaurant Tasting Dinner
Enjoy a 5-course meal at Foia Restaurant for only $40, or $70 with wine pairing.  Doors open at 6:00pm with dinner beginning at 7:30pm.  Seating is limited to be sure to make reservations. Here is a quick look at the menu:

Locally Grown Aparagus Soup
Topped with a cracked black pepper asiago crisp.

Salad
Mixed greens, sliced almonds, strawberries and blackberries tossed in a poppyseed vinaigrette.

Spaghetti in an Oil and Garlic Sauce
Tossed with fresh crab claw meat, Italian parsley and Thai chillies.

Salmon Nicoise
Seared fillet of salmon served over marinated red potatoes and green beans topped with a fresh tomato caper sauce.

Grilled Peaches
Clingstone peaches grilled and served with amaretto ice cream.

Mezzo Ristorante & Lounge Supper Club
The June edition of Mezzo Ristorante & Lounge’s Supper Club is here! With the great weather comes Mezzo’s popular patio overlooking Via Italia. DJ Qrius George, one of Windsor’s finest DJ’s, will be playing throughout the night.

Dinner reservations begin at 7:00pm, and as always, Mezzo turns ‘club’ at 9:00pm. Call Filip today for reservations at 519.252.4055 or email him at info@mezzo.ca. If you can’t make it for dinner, meet some friends for a fabulous Mezzo martini after 9:00pm.  Tickets are $40, however, if you are coming in numbers, ask about their group rate.

The Supper Club 3-course menu for the evening:

Course One:
Spinach Salad
Baby spinach leaves tossed with candied almonds, blue cheese and vanilla poached bosc pears in a raspberry ginger vinaigrette

Course two:
(please choose one of the following)

Timballo
Homemade fresh cut noodles tossed with prosciutto, bacon, red onions and Italian sausage in an extra virgin olive oil and egg yolk topped with goat cheese

Ravioli
Home made ravioli stuffed with roasted butternut squash and mutzu apple in a bacon, sun-dried tomato cream sauce

Manicotti
Wild mushroom, goat and ricotta cheeses stuffed manicotti in a sambuca blush sauce topped with asiago cheese and white truffle oil

Course three:
Creme Brulee

Each month, Mezzo spotlights a local charity to benefit from this event. For June’s Supper Club: The Rack Pack Team. This team will be rowing for Breast Cancer on July 11 and 12th 2009 for The Dragon Boats for the Cure.

Junk Pan-Asian Grill’s Supper Club
On June 26, 2009, Junk Pan-Asian Grill will be hosting their very own Supper Club with a special Canada Day menu. Doors will open at 6:00pm with dinner beginning at 7:00pm. Price per ticket is $45 and includes a 4-course meal and a DJ playing all night. $5 of each ticket sold will be donated to the United Way.

Here is a sneak peek at the menu:

Course One:
Maple glazed smoked salmon appetizer with a hint of mustard and soy on a crustini.

Course Two:
Spinach and romaine heart salad with a pear pesto dressing garnished with blue cheese and roasted walnuts

Course Three:
Duck confit with Junk’s famous vegetables and mashed potato garnished with fresh bacon and chives

Course Four:
Chef select dessert

So much to do, so little time.  I suppose the only thing to ask is, will you choose door #1, door #2, or door #3?  Either way, I am positive you’ll end up a winner!
