June is a busy month for WindsorEats as we host, and invite you to, many events in the upcoming weeks. Pina and I have been busting our derrières to bring fun fun fun for everyone to enjoy. Here is a quick list of our upcoming events in June:
June 12-14, 2009: Dine with Red Bull
Participating WindsorEats members are showcasing their culinary skills as they create dishes and meals that contain Red Bull. This is a must attend event as some of the creations are definitely unique. Participating restaurants include:
- Black Kettle Bistro
- Junk Pan-Asian Grill
- La Guardia
- Mancuso’s Trattoria
- Thai Lanxang
- Thai Silk Restaurant
- The Social Bean Cafe
- Three…A Tasting Bar

June 17, 2009: Wine Club
Our popular, monthly Wine Club will be taking place on Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Our Wine Club, hosted by Mezzo Ristorante & Lounge, offer a great opportunity to samples and learn about 5-6 different wines, all while enjoying platters of tasty Mezzo treats. Tickets must be purchased in advance in our online shop or at Mezzo and cost only $25. Can’t beat that!
June 18: Flick and a Feast – Pontypool
Another edition of Flick and a Feast, our dinner and a movie package, takes place on Thursday, June 18, 2009. Pontypool is a ‘zombie movie’ that is “an avant-garde genre movie that’s both thought-provoking and creepy.” For only $35, you choose a Flick and a Feast menu that you like and a time that you would like to have your reservations made and everything is arranged for you. June 27, 2009 – Wine Trail Ride
This will be the first of our insanely popular Wine Trail Rides, a tasting tour to local wineries all on your bike. Last year, every single ride sold out so we highly encourage you to purchase your tickets now. This Wine Trail Ride will start at Aleksander Estate Winery and also take in Mastronardi Estate Winery and Pelee Island Winery (mainland). At the end of the tour, a meal will also be provided to all guests. Tickets are only $25 and, as mentioned above, sell fast. Tickets for the Wine Trail Ride can be purchased through our online shop or at Maximum Edge.
