This year, FedUp will be hosting harvest swaps twice a month throughout the summer.

But before the harvests comes the seeds and seedlings. On May 10th from 4 to 6 pm, bring your extra seeds and seedlings to 328 Pelissier, and swap with others. Or just come and see what’s being given away. Then, starting on Sunday June 21st from 4 to 6 pm (location tba), and repeating on the first and third Sundays of every month (up to and including October), bring your garden harvest surplus to swap.

All members of the public are welcome. All unclaimed food will be donated to the food bank, a community kitchen or others in need. FedUp encourages others to host community harvest swaps; the shorter the distance that garden harvests have to travel the better. If you would like to know how FedUp Swaps are going and what we’re learning from doing them, visit the FedUp website.
