This Sunday, March 22, is World Water Day.

Why is there a World Water Day? Well, while access to water may not be an issue for us yet, in many countries it is . There are many people out there that feel water is a commodity and should be privatized rather than remain a public resource.

So as the world’s water supply continues to dwindle, the issue of who has access to water, who doesn’t and who should own the water supply is becoming something that, sooner or later, we are all going to have to deal with. In the last few weeks, I’ve noticed a few more headlines about the issue of wars over water rather than oil, taking place in the very near future. It is a really fascinating topic.
