WindsorEats is participating in FedUp‘s First Annual Vegetarian Chili Cook-Off on Thursday, January 22, 2009.
There will be up to 10 vegetarian chilis competing for ‘best in show’, ‘spiciest’, and ‘most radical’. There will be lots of veggie chili to taste and judge, as well as desserts and beverages. The public is definitely welcome and there is a $5 suggested donation at the door.
I don’t wanna brag, but I made up a batch of some kickass chili over the weekend and I’m pretty excited to enter into the contest. Let’s just say one of the ingredients is espresso. I’ll leave it at that. If you want to know more you’ll have to come out to the cook off!
The event takes place from 11:30am to 2:00pm at the Windsor Workers Action Centre on 328 Pelissier Street in downtown Windsor. Proceeds will go to FedUp Windsor and the Windsor Workers Action Centre.
