Since it’s Good Friday, our family follows the tradition that no meat is eaten today. So for lunch I put together a delicious and really, really good looking (add Zoolander’s magnum look here) fruit salad. I threw in some grapes, blackberries, blueberries and strawberries and added a little bit of vanilla yogurt on top.
Love the way this salad looks with all the dark colours and the dolop of yogurt on top. Loved the way it tasted even better!
Now that might not seem like a hearty lunch but later today we head over to my mom’s house for a seafood feast! Linguine with shrimp, seafood salad with crab and calamari, mmmm…..can’t wait!
