This year, Frank Brewing Co. is participating for the very first time in Winter Bites Restaurant Week, taking place January 15-21, 2018 at participating restaurants across Windsor, Ontario and surrounding area.
To celebrate, let’s take a peek at what they’ll be serving up on their Winter Bites menu.
Spinach Dip
Every good party starts with a great spinach dip and this Winter Bites menu is no different. Served up with tri-coloured tortilla chips and fried pita points, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. It’s a hefty serving, so be ready for it!
Italian Cheese Twist
How can you not love a balsamic reduction and cheese together? These sliced little pockets of deliciousness are the perfect size to pop in your mouth…or share. I guess you can share, if you really have to.
Filled with some goat cheese, mozzarella, onion, oregano, basil and a balsamic vinaigrette drizzled on top, you can even release your inner Italian by using each slice to slop up all the balsamic reduction.
Gyro Pizza
A gyro got married to a pizza and this was their love child. Their oh so tasty lovechild. A garlic oil base pizza with gyro meat, tomato, onion, and tzaziki.
The Italian Man Sandwich
A tasty twist on the meaty lunch sandwiches Mamma used to make. It’s a panini pressed with ham, Calabrese salami, bacon, mozzarella and onion. A basil mayo spread throughout is a fantastic compliment to the meatiness of the entire sandwich.
Creme Brulee Cheesecake
It’s creme brulee and cheesecake all in one. We really don’t need to go on explaining how amazing it is. The best part is it comes in a jay so if you’re too full from the previous two courses you can just carry it home with you for later…or just finish it in the car before you leave the parking lot. We won’t judge.
