F&B in Walkerville is taking part in the 2017 Negroni Week.
Negroni Week was launched in 2013 as a celebration of one of the world’s great cocktails and an effort to raise money for charities around the world. From 2013 to 2016, Negroni Week grew from about 100 participating venues to 6,000 venues around the world, and to date, they have collectively raised nearly $900,000 for charitable causes.
The 2017 edition of Negroni Week takes place from June 5-11, 2017.
In addition to the classic cocktail, F&B mixologist, Tom Scully, has added a special touch with four other variations of the classic cocktail.
Skyy Vodka, Campari, Elderflower liqueur, mint, cucumber, egg white, vanilla syrup, lemon juice. Egg white coctail thats perfect for cutting the heat.
Wild Turkey 101, Campari, Cinzano Rosso, house made cherry syrup, Mole bitters, smoked with cinnamon. This is perfect for the Manhattan and Old Fashioned lover.
Equal parts Bulldog Gin, Aperol, Averna Amaro, and garnished with rosemary and Campari Infused Cherries. This elegant variation on the Negroni is slightly more rich than the original, but offers an herbal and refreshing twist with the garnish and finish.
Erie Street Special
Bulldog Gin, Campari, Honey syrup, vanilla, Thyme and lemon, topped off with soda. This is a VERY refreshing effervescent twist on a Negroni. The honey is soft, while the thyme and lemon really bring the Campari to life.
The charity of choice for F&B, which will donate $1 of every sale, will be the ADOPT-A-VET charity, which helps veteran of the Canadian armed forces in Windsor Essex.
So go drink some great cocktails while giving to a good cause!
