North 42 Degrees Estate Winery is now open.
Martin Gorski and Suzanne Dajczak welcome you to discover their passion for wine making, the natural beauty of their surroundings and their warm hospitality. As third generation Canadian farmers from European farming heritage, wine flows deep within their ancestral roots and locally since the 1930’s. They have now brought their heritage and passion together at North 42 Degrees where they cultivate the finest grapes for the transformation of bountiful fruit harvests into wine.
They are delighted to offer two wines – an aromatic Gerwurtztraminer and our berrylicious Pinot Noir for enjoyment.
Central to their philosophy at North 42 Degrees is the belief that great wine is made in the vineyard. Martin and Suzanne believe that wine, as well as life’s moments, are meant to be shared with family and friends. They work with nature and the special features of our terroir – the morainic soil, rainfall, sunlit summers, gentle breezes, foggy autumns and frosty winters – to produce the absolutely best wine possible.
As part of their love for our community, Martin and Suzanne have concientiously utilized local contractors and enviromentally responsible materials in the construction of North 42.
A press conference is scheduled for 10:00am Monday, September 24th, 2012 at 130 County Road 50 East, Colchester, Ontario . Visit for a tasting, tour of the winery, vineyard and weather permitting see an actual harvest.
