Having lived in the old Walkerville neighbourhood my entire life, the one event that I anticipate the most each and every year is Art in the Park. I absolutely love the throngs of people walking through the neighbourhood, all the yard sales, old friends and family members you haven’t seen in years using you for your driveway in close proximity to the park. I love it.
Well, it’s that time of year again! Art in the Park takes place this weekend, June 3-5, 2011, and a few of our members will be dishing out some food and wine (Pelee Island Winery) within the event. Here is a look at the menus being offered by our members:
Thai Palace Restaurant
Appetizer
Crispy Spring Rolls
Dumplings
Fresh Spring Rolls (Chicken or Mango Avocado or Avocado only)
Chicken Satay Served with Sweet Sour Sauce and Peanut Sauce
Main Course
Cashew Nuts with Chicken (Stir-fried Thai Palace’s homemade ginger garlic sauce with onions, carrots, celery, broccoli, and sweet peppers and topped with cashew nuts.)
Panang with Chicken (Thai panang curry paste with coconut milk, red bell peppers, onions, bamboo shoots and lime leave.)
Main dishes served with jasmine rice.
Sweet & Sour Chicken Stir Fry – tender chicken grilled together with a variety of vegetables and served over a bed of white rice.
Mongolian Beef Tips – tender marinated beef tips grilled and served over white rice with our signature Mongolian Pepper Thai sauce drizzled on top.
Crab Rangoons – Wontons filled with a delicious mixture of crab meat, cream cheese, chives and spices, cooked golden brown and served with a special sauce. (4 pieces)
