Sweet T’s Soul Cookin’ will be closing it’s doors in two weeks.
The sister restaurant of Smoke & Spice, known for its Chicken & Waffles with smoked maple syrup dish, wanted to say thanks to all of their biggest fans.
Though the restaurant will be closing on June 16, 2013, they will be back as a new family restaurant from the space at 1515 Ottawa Street.
The group will be spending the summer refining a new concept that they are hoping everyone can sink their teeth into while striving to craft some alternatives that serve to satiate the growing restrictions that so many people have regarding what they can eat.
Over the next two weeks Sweet T’s want everyone to have a fair chance at a final visit so they will stop taking reservations, operating on a first come, first served basis to help ensure that everyone has the same opportunity to have a visit, and to avoid folks waiting at the door while reserved tables sit empty.
Gift cards will be honoured until June 15, 2013, but they will be honoured once again when the new restaurant reopens. Please understand that Sweet T’s gift cards will notbe redeemable at Smoke & Spice, as that restaurant is a completely separate corporation.
Everyone at Sweet T’s want to thank you for all your support, and they look forward to seeing you all soon as they count down, and once again for the new launch in the fall.
