The Electric Avenue International Jazz Festival is making its big debut this July, transforming Via Italia, the WindsorEats Food Hall, and Electric Avenue Art Alley in Windsor, Ontario, into a high-energy, cross-border celebration of jazz, soul, and blues.

We’re bringing some of the hottest names in jazz from Windsor, Detroit, Toronto, and beyond to one of Windsor’s coolest neighbourhoods. From laid-back afternoon grooves to late-night alley jams, it’s two days packed with world-class performances in an unforgettable urban setting.
You’ll hear everything from classic soul and blues to fiery bebop and smooth modern jazz — all under the open sky, surrounded by alley murals, patios, and community vibes.

- JUNO-nominated Windsor trumpet player Russ Macklem headlines with his Detroit Quintet, fresh off the 2024 Detroit Jazz Festival.
- Detroit sax star Kasan Belgrave brings his quintet to Windsor for a one-night-only set.
- A fiery Detroit/Windsor Tenor Saxophone Battle featuring Stephen Grady Jr. (Detroit) and Len Temilini (Windsor).
- Toronto’s Sam Dickinson, one of Canada’s fastest rising jazz guitarists, teams up with Russ Macklem and others in a national all-star quartet.
