Welcome to The Literary Passport Series, a monthly book club hosted by Biblioasis Book Shop at the WindsorEats Food Hall. This unique experience invites you to explore stories from across the globe—without ever leaving your seat.

Starting this April, join us on the last Thursday of every month from 6:00 PM–7:30 PM as we dive into powerful, conversation-worthy books set in different countries. Each gathering brings a new destination, a new perspective, and a new way to experience storytelling.

How It Works

It’s part book club, part experience, and a great excuse to keep coming back.

  • Pick up the book of the month at Biblioasis Book Shop and receive a 15% discount
  • When you arrive, you’ll be given your own Literary Passport—your official pass to this reading journey
  • Each month you attend, you’ll earn a stamp for that country
  • Collect all 5 stamps and receive a free mystery book
  • No registration required

Each month features a carefully selected book tied to a different country, giving you a chance to explore global voices and perspectives:

April starts off with Elena Knows by Claudia Pineiro: A mother travels throughout Buenos Aires to try and solve the murder of her daughter after the police investigation wraps up neatly and unsatisfactory. She must confront both her and her daughter’s past along the way. Claudia Pineiro is the third most translated author in Argentina. Elena Knows was recently adapted into a movie, and Pineiro has written other screenplays, including that of Netflix’s The Kingdom.

Each stop on your literary journey we will feature a cocktail inspired by the country of the book. Thoughtfully crafted to reflect regional flavours and culture, it’s the perfect way to immerse yourself even deeper into the experience—one sip at a time.
