The spooky season might be wrapping up, but we’re not done celebrating just yet! On Saturday, November 1, WindsorEats is throwing one last hurrah before we swap skeletons for Santa hats — an all-day Day of the Dead fiesta from 2pm to 11pm that’s bursting with music, colour, and flavour. Here’s why you need to be there:
1. It’s a full day of family fun (and face paint!)
Kick things off in the afternoon with a celebration everyone can enjoy. Bring the kids, bring your friends — heck, bring your abuela! There’ll be face painting and the chance to get your own Calavera Catrina (“elegant skull”) design done, a gorgeous symbol of Día de los Muertos.
2. Experience the magic of traditional Mexican dance
Catch a youth dance group bringing authentic Mexican folkloric dance to life. Their energy, costumes, and rhythm will have you clapping along (and maybe even trying a few moves yourself).
3. La Catrina herself will make an appearance

This elegant skeleton queen is an icon of the Day of the Dead — graceful, haunting, and full of meaning. Her performance celebrates the idea that death is a part of life and that we can honour it with beauty and laughter. It’s both powerful and mesmerizing to witness.
4. Sabor Latino Band will have you dancing all night
Once the sun goes down, the real fiesta begins. At 6pm, Sabor Latino Band takes the stage indoors to keep you warm and moving. Expect irresistible Latin beats, a packed dance floor, and vibes hotter than a jalapeño margarita.
5. Sip on the best margaritas in the city
You already know WindsorEats has the margarita game on lock. From our classic to fun seasonal flavours like pumpkin spice, they’re the perfect sidekick for your dancing shoes.

And in case you didn’t know, you can get a flight of four margaritas if you couldn’t decide on which one you wanted.
6. Last chance for our spooky Halloween Town cocktails
We’re saying goodbye to our Halloween Town Pop-Up, which means this is your final weekend to sip on fan favourites like the Booberry Gin Sour, Graveyard Gold, and the Pumpkin Spice Margarita before they vanish into the night.
7. It’s the perfect bridge to the holiday season

If you’ve been living your best spooky life at Halloween Town, this party is your send-off before Tinseltown Windsor takes over on November 14. Think of it as one last dance with the dead before the elves move in.
